The applicant above the age of 55 years are provided admission at the Old Age Home. Admission in the Old Age Home is free of charge, in case of abandoned persons and helpless aged persons in indigent condition living alone unable to manage on their own and who are citizens of Goa are provided admission at the Old Age Home run by IPA (Provedoria). In case of applicant whose family members are away from Goa owing to which they have nobody to care for them. The Director may make and Order requiring the applicant / his/her children or relative to contribute for his/her maintenance according to the financial position of the family. Food, clothing, medication is borne by Provedoria till their last rites. Once the applicant fill in the admission form the inquiry of the case is conducted through field staff before admission and admission is confirmed within 10 days from the date of application.
Benefits
The Senior Citizens who are provided admission in the Old Age Homes of IPA (Provedoria) and have no one to look after them are provided with food, clothing, medicine and shelter. The final rites are also conducted by IPA (Provedoria) as per their wish and religion.

Any applicant above 55 years. 2 Nos of passport size photo. Proof of Age. Medical Certificate from Government Hospital/ Health Center. Income Certificate issued by competent authority. 15 years Residence Certificate issued by Mamlatdar. Election Card. Aadhar Card.

The Scheme provide succour to person in dire need of immediate assistance in illness or being placed in any other unfortunate , unforeseen , extraordinary or difficult situation.
Benefits
Person irrespective of Age suffering from all types of illness and cannot afford to purchase the medicines by themselves are provided medicines under this Scheme .
Eligibility
Income certificate from the competent authority . Medical Certificate and/or or prescription from a Government Doctor/Medical officer stating that the person is actually suffering from the disease diagnosed and that the prescribed medicine and drugs are needed for the treatment of the disease and that they are not available with the Government Pharmacy / Health Center. Residence Certificate for 15 years.
